Your Consent
By placing an order you agree to our Terms and Conditions. Work will only commence on your cake when your order has been paid in full.
Prices
All prices are non-negotiable and priced according to your design and size of cake.
Crystal Marie's Cake Creations do not ‘price match’, as our prices are based upon our unique work and quality of ingredients used.
Following your consultation/inquiry, your quote is valid for 3 days from the quote date. Upfront payment secures this price and prevents any further price increases, except;
1. In exceptional circumstances beyond our control e.g. fuel price increase, ingredient cost increase etc. and
2. Alterations made to original quote
Orders
Depending on availability- At least 7 working days’ notice is required for cupcakes and 14 days for cakes and cookies. It is advisable to book as soon as you know the date you require, particularly for weddings, weekends, summer dates and holidays (Easter, Christmas, etc). Short notice orders will always be considered however, there is no guarantee that there will be availability to fulfill your order and a rush fee of 10% will be applied.
Crystal Marie's Cake Creations reserve the right to decline any order.
Deposits and balance
Your date is not secured until you have paid a 50% non-refundable deposit. DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. However, we understand that life happens and dates may change; you're deposit is transferable for a different date based on availability.
Date changes must be made no later than 96 hours prior for weather conditions or 72 hours prior for sudden illnesses.
Your date will be held for 24 hours following an inquiry, after this time has passed your date will be made available again and will be booked by the first customer to pay for confirmation.
Orders below $65 must be paid in full, if cancellation occurs before 72 hours of event date a 50% refund will be issued.

Orders 7-12 month in advance $100 Non refundable holding fee.

Payments
Crystal Marie's Cake Creations accepts Paypal, Venmo, Cashapp, and Credit/ Debit card payments via invoice. All payments will have 6% sales tax added to the total.
You should email or message with confirmation of payment transfer in order to facilitate prompt acknowledgement of payment.
Remaining balances are due no later than 72 hours prior to pickup or delivery. We will not be begin order until payment has been received within 72 hours of the scheduled booking.
Collection and Delivery
All baked goods are for collection, unless delivery is requested at the time of order.
Collection of orders is available from Crystal Marie's Cake Creations LLC via appointment only during the following hours: Wednesday to Saturday 10am – 6:30pm and Sundays 9am to 11am. Other times may be available on request but this cannot be guaranteed and arrangements need to made with at least 7 days’ notice. The customer is responsible for advising Crystal Marie's Cake Creations if they are unable to meet the agreed time for collection.
All orders are made to order, arriving earlier than your expected collection time may result in items not being ready and the customer being asked to return at their scheduled appointment. In some cases we may need an additional 15-20 minutes to finish with detailing, photography, and packaging.
Crystal Marie's Cake Creations LLC offers local delivery starting at $15. It is your duty to examine the cakes/cupcakes upon collection/delivery to ensure that the order is complete and that the goods have not been damaged in transit.
You are required to enter full and accurate details for delivery including the name, address and postcode of the recipient. We will not be responsible for any orders which are not delivered due to incorrect or incomplete information. If there is no one there to receive the delivery at the agreed delivery date and time, then it will be deemed a ‘Failed Delivery’. The item/s will be left in the nearest shaded area, Crystal Marie's Cake Creations will provide a photograph as proof to say that the item/s has arrived and that it is in perfect condition. Crystal Marie's Cake Creations LLC will not be responsible for item/s that become damaged or stolen. I am unable to refund the order cost or delivery charges for failed deliveries.
Requests to change delivery/collection date and time should be given with no less than 7 days’ notice, please note it may not always be possible to accommodate these changes.
Crystal Marie's Cake Creations LLC advise customers to travel with the cakes on a flat surface, ideally the passenger foot well. The cake may need support either side to stop it tipping over if flooring is not level.
Crystal Marie's Cake Creations LLC accept no liability for item/s that are damaged on or after collection or delivered to the agreed location.
For desserts delivered to agreed locations Crystal Marie's Cake Creations LLC will provide a photograph as proof to say that the item/s has arrived and that it is in perfect condition.
Desserts collected are checked by myself and checked by the person on collection. The customer consents that it has been collected in perfect condition by accepting the desserts and removing it from the premises. Damages after this point are not Crystal Marie's Cake Creations LLC responsibility.
Custom decorated cakes are fragile and require care and attention when handling, storing and displaying to prevent damage occurring.
Care
As general guidance, Cakes and Cupcakes should be eaten as soon as you can, preferably within 1-3 days to maximize freshness.
Cake and Cupcakes should be stored in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and is recommended to be refrigerated if needed but no more than 3-4 days after collection, as refrigeration may cause the sliced cake and cupcakes to dry out. Cake and Cupcakes should be kept flat at all times and away from strong odors.
It is the customer’s responsibility to inform Crystal Marie's Cake Creations LLC if the cake or cupcakes are being consumed the day after collection. Crystal Marie's Cake Creations LLC can provide an extra piece of cellophane to put over the top of the cake box for overnight storage. This will help prevent any dust, hair, etc. settling on the cakes.
Desserts should be stored away from children and animals.
It is advisable not to consume cakes and cupcakes after 3-4 days from the date made. Cookies can stay at room temperature for up to 2 weeks if packaged and stored in an air tight container.
Buttercream coloring may stain and care should be taken whilst handling and consuming.
Design conditions
Crystal Marie's Cake Creations LLC aim to produce cakes of highest quality that meet the desires of the clients as we understand them.
Each dessert is handmade. Whilst every effort is made to ensure consistency in baking, a small amount of variation may occur both in the flavor, color, size, design and texture of the recipe.
Alterations & changes to cakes
It is the client’s responsibility to read and check the order confirmation document thoroughly; any amendments should be made in writing.
If requested, we will endeavor to adjust the design where feasible, but sometimes this is not possible due to the nature of the request or amount of notice given.
Minor changes will be accommodated; however major changes may result in a re-quote.
If the alteration affects the cost, or preparation work for the original design has already been started, then your balance will be adjusted accordingly.
Allergies and Special Dietary Requirements
Unfortunately Crystal Marie's Cake Creations LLC do not offer 'free from' cupcakes as our kitchen is not a certified allergy free workspace. All recipes will contain dairy products, egg and gluten and the client assumes responsibility for advising guests of this fact. Products may contain traces of nuts.
Non-edible items
Most special occasion cakes contain small proportions of inedible items; it is the client’s responsibility to ensure these are removed by your caterer/guests before consumption. Most of our custom cake toppers contain inedible items and are not suitable for human consumption.
Non-edible cake toppers can be purchased at an additional cost. Individual quotes are provided upon request. Crystal Marie's Cake Creations LLC require at least two week’s notice for bespoke cake toppers.
Cancellation
If cancellation of the order is made 72 hours or before the order is due for delivery/collection then the 50% deposit is retained and transferable for another date based on availability. Any money paid above the deposit will be returned if cancellation occurs before 72 hours of deliver/ collection.
If cancellation is made less than 72 hours of the delivery/collection time then all monies received will be retained as preparation of your order may have started.
In the unlikely event that I am forced to cancel an order through no fault of the customer ALL monies will be refunded.
All cakes remain the property of Crystal Marie's Cake Creations LLC until paid for in full.
Crystal Marie's Cake Creations LLC reserve the right to resell any item/s that is cancelled.
If the customer fails to collect their desserts at their designated collection time or within a 30 minute window, it is the customer responsibility to contact Crystal Marie's Cake Creations LLC to rearrange collection. If the customer does not contact us within 4 hours, Crystal Marie's Cake Creations LLC will assume the customer no longer requires the cupcakes/cake/cookies and it may be given away or resold. No refunds will be given for failed collections/deliveries
Photographs
Crystal Marie's Cake Creations LLC reserve the right to take photographs of all baked goods for advertising purposes.
It is the customer’s responsibly to inform Crystal Marie's Cake Creations LLC if they’d like the photographs and a special message to be put on social media on a specific date.
Complaints
·Complaints are very rare but are taken very seriously by Crystal Marie's Cake Creations LLC. Customer satisfaction is our priority. All complaints and/or discrepancies must be reported immediately as some complaints may require further investigation and desserts must be returned within 14 hours for inspection, therefore immediate refund may not be available.
· The maximum refund Crystal Marie's Cake Creations LLC offer is the value of the cakes and any delivery charges.
· Corrections to , including inscription mistakes, can be corrected on the same day in most cases
